Yes, It’s that Time Again! Father’s Day is Just Around the Corner!
My dad and I had a unique relationship. I am his only daughter but he really didn’t learn how to be a dad from his own father, somebody I never met. So we just went along as best as we knew, which didn’t always work because we are so very similar and therefore clashed a lot! I found myself making the same facial expression as him the other day. LOL My dad is my dad and is very unique but was never one where you could just pick up a “dad” gift – he wasn’t into that. So while it was hard to shop for him, it was harder to show how we really felt.
And now, with my husband, that’s an even more unique person! He is definitely different from my dad so maybe that’s why I fell in love with him. But he works hard to support us so I can stay at home with the kids (and blog). He takes care of the “house” stuff and doesn’t complain (much).
