I am Shannon, the owner of Tethered Mommy. I have been married to my husband for over 20 years. Together we have six kids ranging in age from 20 to 5 years. We live in a small town in southern Colorado just twenty minutes away from the Colorado New Mexico border.
From the time my first son was born, I have been a stay-at-home mom. Since the day when the internet first came into my home twelve years ago, I have been searching for ways to supplement my husband’s income while staying at home with my kids. I’ve tried lots of different things-some worked and some didn’t. I hope to share everything I have learned through this blog, along with sharing as many opportunities as I can find for those also looking for a way to earn extra income from home. My goal is to help moms just like me, who have no college education, find a way provide supplemental income to a one-income family.
My loves outside of blogging are spending time with my family, eating out (because I don’t like to cook!) and Zumba!
I welcome companies big and small to contact me about conducting a review of one of your products. I may be a smaller blog but that also means I have more time to spend on each review and your product will stand out instead of just being shuffled into a huge list.
I also have various giveaway events coming up that I am looking for sponsors to provide prizes for. A giveaway event involves a group of bloggers coming together under a common event (like Share the Love for Valentine’s Day-themed giveaways) and each hosting individual giveaways during a certain time frame.
